We have transformed this compact apartment of 65 sq.m with a fractional layout into a common space, with only the bedroom area separated.

The curtains of intense electric blue color have become the main motif of the entire apartment and also successfully performed as zoning elements. Vivid color accents are balanced out by the restrained, almost monochrome, base of the apartment.

The oak veneer fronts accomplishes the kitchen area to feel cozier and get extra soft-touch feelings. The black ceramic backdrop with pinkish seams serves as a background for the wooden facades. The customized dining table is lit by a Flowerpot lamp designed by Verner Panton in 1968.

The living room is an area for communication – neither television nor projector has been provided at the clients' request. The powdery sofa strongly contrasts with the electric blue curtains. The graphic artwork by Yulia Popova and the iconic Flos 265 lighting is starring here essential pieces of the living room.

The special request of the apartment owner was a workplace arrangement where he could do his favorite thing – composing electronic music. So we have designed a table that can fit all the necessary equipment. Above the table, we have placed a photograph of the well-known Berlin techno club "Berghain" by Michael Belhadi.

The calm bedroom space accommodates a makeup area and a small walk-in closet. The black wardrobe block has separated from the rest of the room with blue curtains. The mirrored fronts create the illusion of endless space.

We have combined two small premises into one to increase the space of the bathroom. The floor-to-ceiling mirror stands behind the sink, expanding the space even more. In addition, all storage areas have been hidden behind built-in veneered cabinets.

The wide engineered planks have performed as the flooring solution for the entire apartment. But for the kitchen and the bathroom areas, we have decided to give up standard tiles in favor of breccia - fragments of broken marble with polymer grout-filled joints.
