PUNKRAFT

“Punkraft” is a craft beer bar located in the center of Kyiv at the corner of the Podil historic pedestrian street.

Stylistically we were inspired by the industrial aesthetics of beer equipment and the philosophy of the craft brewing movement, such as freedom, punk, experiments, and custom production.

We have divided the given space into three zones: the bar, main and quiet halls.

The show-stopping core of the bar zone is a 3.5-meter-long 24-tap custom draft beer tower connected to the cooling chamber. It allows for keeping a constant rotation of assorted craft beers on tap. The ceiling above the bar zone is made up of arched metal segments as a reference to the brick vaults of neighboring halls.

The main hall hosts large companies enjoying the broadcast of some sports events and playing console. Therefore, we have installed long oak tables and equipped the space with arched screens.

The quiet hall is the area for more private and relaxed communication. The main decorative element here is a niche hand-painted by Oleksandr Hrebeniuk, a renowned Ukrainian artist.
